Digital Visibility & Growth

I help small businesses figure out where their biggest digital opportunities are, then spend my time pursuing the ones most likely to make a difference.

SEO. AI search. Local visibility. Ecommerce. Content. Analytics.

Not a checklist. Not a package. A strategy built around your business.

Your customers do not search in one place anymore.

They find products through Google, Maps, AI assistants, shopping results, social media, online directories, recommendations, and other digital touchpoints.

The challenge is not simply ranking higher. It is making sure your business is visible, credible, easy to understand, and easy to choose wherever customers are looking.

That is what I work on.

What I Do

I work with small businesses to identify the digital opportunities most likely to make a meaningful difference to the business, then prioritize and execute the work that can move those opportunities forward.

That can include:

Search Visibility

SEO, content optimization, technical improvements, internal linking, backlinks, keyword opportunities, and improving how products and categories appear in search.

AI Search Visibility (AEO/GEO)

Improving the information and authority signals AI systems use to understand, cite, recommend, and link to businesses and their products.

Local Visibility

Google Business Profile optimization, local citations, reviews, Maps visibility, and strengthening the connection between a retailer's physical location and online store.

Ecommerce Visibility

Product and category optimization, Google Merchant Center, shopping visibility, product descriptions, organic product discovery, and identifying opportunities within existing search data.

Content & Authority

Creating useful content around products, customer questions, buying decisions, and relevant topics that can strengthen traditional search rankings, AI visibility, and overall authority.

Analytics & Opportunity Discovery

Using GA4, Google Search Console, search data, rankings, and other available information to understand what is working, what is being missed, and where the next opportunity may be.

The Difference

I do not begin every month with a predetermined checklist.

One retailer may need better product pages. Another may already have strong rankings but weak local visibility. Another may have valuable products sitting just outside Google's first page. Another may be getting traffic but failing to turn enough of that traffic into customers.

The goal is to determine what is most likely to move the needle for your business, prioritize it, execute it, measure what happens, and adjust from there.

SEO, AEO/GEO, local search, ecommerce optimization, content, backlinks, analytics, and other digital marketing work are not treated as isolated services.

They are tools for solving the same problem:

Getting more of the right customers to find, understand, trust, and choose your business.

Especially useful for independent retailers

Retail businesses give me the ability to work across both local and ecommerce visibility, and it’s an area where I have documented experience improving organic traffic, online sales, search visibility, and AI citations.

Pricing

My standard rate is $100 per hour.

Monthly retainers reserve a minimum amount of time that I commit to your business each month.

For example:

  • $500/month = 5 hours

  • $750/month = 7.5 hours

  • $1,000/month = 10 hours

A lower monthly retainer does not mean lower-quality work or a different version of the service. It simply means less time is available each month.

I use that time where I believe it can have the greatest impact based on current opportunities, performance data, business priorities, and what I am seeing in the market.

How Monthly Time Works

The hours included in your monthly retainer are a minimum commitment, not a hard stop.

If I have already met that commitment for the month and a high-impact opportunity comes up, I may choose to spend extra time seeing it through at no additional cost.

I do not want a worthwhile opportunity to die simply because the allotted time for the month has been reached. Sometimes I want to see an idea through because I believe it may work and I want to see the result.

You will never be billed for additional time unless we have discussed and agreed to it in advance.

How My Rate Compares

I try to keep my pricing accessible to small businesses while charging a professional rate for the work. As of July 2026, Clutch reports that U.S. SEO agencies typically charge $100–$149 per hour.

WebFX's published pricing guide based on a survey of more than 250 businesses, found that companies with 1–20 employees most commonly spend $500–$2,500 per month on SEO. Their general budgeting guideline for small local businesses is also $500–$2,500 per month.

My standard rate is $100/hour, placing it at the low end of those published industry ranges.

The Goal

The goal is not to complete a predetermined number of tasks.

The goal is to continuously look for opportunities to improve how your business is found, understood, recommended, and chosen, then spend the available time pursuing the opportunities most likely to matter.
